Eurovision 2027 in Burgas will have three live shows at Arena Burgas: the first semi-final on Tuesday, May 11, the second semi-final on Thursday, May 13, and the final on Saturday, May 15, 2027. Tickets are not yet on sale and a start date has not been announced. You will only be able to purchase them from the official EBU channel and only with a free Eurofan account on eurovision.com.

If you are a fan, you know how quickly tickets disappear and how quickly the host city fills up. Those who wait for the last week usually end up without a seat in the hall and no bed nearby. Below we have gathered the dates, how the tickets are sold, the program for the week and how to plan it if you are staying with us in Sozopol.

Eurovision 2027 in Burgas in short

On August 13, 2026, BNT and the EBU announced that Burgas would be the host city for the 71st edition of the song contest. Burgas prevailed over Varna, Plovdiv and Sofia, which were also candidates.

  • Organizer: BNT, together with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
  • Hall: Arena Burgas, the newest sports and concert hall in the city, in its northern part.
  • The show: two semi-finals and a final, plus preliminary shows before each of them.
  • Tickets: they have not yet been released; they are only purchased with a Eurofan account.

For Burgas, this is the biggest event the city has ever hosted. For you as a guest, this means one thing: the earlier you plan your trip, the calmer the week will be.

When is Eurovision 2027 – the dates of the shows

The dates of the three live shows are official and have been announced by the EBU. Each of them is held at Arena Burgas.

  • Tuesday, May 11, 2027 – first semi-final
  • Thursday, May 13, 2027 – second semi-final
  • Saturday, May 15, 2027 – final

According to the information available so far, live shows start at 22:00 Bulgarian time. This is important for your plan: the finale ends late at night, not in the evening.

The three live shows

Live shows are those that are broadcast on television throughout Europe and the world. In the semi-finals, the finalists are determined, and on Saturday the winner is chosen. Tickets for the final are usually the most sought after, so many fans view the semi-finals as the easier way to get into the venue.

The preview shows

According to the EBU FAQ, before each of the three live shows there are two preliminary shows, a total of six. These are full rehearsals with an audience in the same hall, during the week between May 10 and 15. For example, if you don’t manage to get a ticket for the final, the preliminary rehearsal before it is a real chance to see the same show live. Tickets for these shows will also be sold through the same official channel.

Tickets for Eurovision 2027

That is the question we are asked most often. The answer today is short: the sale has not yet started.

When the sale starts

The EBU has not yet announced a date for the start of sales, nor the categories or prices of the tickets. Various fan sites are reporting about a first wave in late 2026 or early 2027, but these are expectations, not announced dates. The most reliable sources are the eurovision.com competition pages and the news on BNT.

How to buy: a profile on Eurofan

According to the EBU, only people with an account on Eurofan will be able to buy tickets. Registration is free and can be done on eurovision.com. Our advice:

  1. Create your profile now, without waiting for the news about the sale.
  2. If you are traveling with a company, let everyone who will be buying tickets create an account in time.
  3. Follow the official pages for the start day and be ready at the time of the sale.
  4. Decide in advance which shows you want to watch so you don't waste time in the online queue.

How not to fall for fake tickets

The EBU explicitly advises against buying tickets from unofficial sellers. Until the official sale has begun, no one can sell you a real ticket for Eurovision 2027.

  • A website that „sells“ tickets before the announced sale is not official.
  • Signs like „Only 2 left!“ are a way to get you to pay without checking.
  • Do not pay by bank transfer to an unknown person or with cryptocurrency.
  • If you are unsure, check on eurovision.com which is the official sales channel.

The program of the week in Burgas

Eurovision is not just three evenings in the hall. The week of the competition is a celebration in the entire city, and many fans come even without a ticket.

  • Eurovision Village: According to the first reports, it will be in the area of the Sea Garden. Usually, shows are shown here on a large screen and there are concerts during the day.
  • EuroClub: The club of fans and delegations. Its location and program will be announced later.
  • Pre-show and live shows: between May 10 and 15 at Arena Burgas.

The EBU says that details about the village and EuroClub will come in the coming months. As of today, no dates and times have been announced for these events, so don't plan day by day before the official program comes out. Plan the week, and the times will come.

There is also time for the city itself between the shows. For example, in Burgas you can stroll through the Sea Garden and the bridge, and by boat you can reach the island of Saint Anastasia. The average daily highs in May are around 21 degrees, so the evenings by the sea are pleasant, but bring a jacket for the after-show season.

Where is Arena Burgas and how to get there

Arena Burgas is located in the northern part of the city. This means that from the southern entrance of Burgas you cross the entire city, and on show day the traffic around the hall will be more congested.

You can get to Burgas by plane, train or bus. Burgas Airport is about 10 km from the city center. If you arrive by plane, see how to get there Burgas Airport to Sozopol. We have described the buses, taxis and parking around the hall in detail in the article. Arena Burgas: how to get from Sozopol.

The Eurovision Week from Sozopol

We are the hosts of Transilvaniya Apartments in Sozopol, about 37 km from Arena Burgas, or about 35-45 minutes by car without traffic jams. If you are looking for overnight stays for Eurovision 2027, Sozopol is a peaceful base: in the evening you are at the show, and in the morning you are 150 m from the „Harmantane“ beach and within walking distance of the Old Town.

Which nights to take

The minimum stay with us is 3 nights. If you have a ticket for one show, take the nights around it. For example, for the final on Saturday, it’s convenient to arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday or Monday. If you want both semi-finals, it’s easier to stay for the whole week instead of traveling back and forth.

Returning after the show

Live shows end late, and the buses between Burgas and Sozopol stop early in the evening. Therefore, for the return, plan to take a car or taxi, arranged in advance.
