You have a ticket for a concert, match or Eurovision 2027 at Arena Burgas, and you are staying in Sozopol. The venue is easy to reach. The difficulty is getting back: the evening events end late, and the last bus from Burgas to Sozopol leaves at 20:00.
We have collected the address, stops, parking lot, and ways to get from Sozopol to the Arena and back. The schedules were checked on 11.10.2026.
Arena Burgas in brief
- Address: 79 „Stefan Stambolov“ Blvd., in the „Izgrev“ district, in the northern part of Burgas.
- Open: on May 18, 2023.
- Capacity: According to the hall’s management, there are up to 15,000 standing or about 6,300 seated seats. The capacity for Eurovision has not yet been announced because it depends on the stage.
- Eurovision 2027: Semifinals on May 11 and 13, final on May 15, 2027. The live show starts at 22:00 Bulgarian time.
The official website of the hall (arenaburgas.eu) is currently only a landing page, so keep an eye on the event schedule with the organizer of each event.

By car
From the district of Budjaka in Sozopol to the hall there is about 37 km of road to Burgas, 35-45 minutes without traffic jams. The arena is in the northern part of the city, so you cross all of Burgas.
There are open parking spaces around the hall, but according to the project for Eurovision 2027, which is still awaiting approval from the EBU, they will be reserved for the competition teams, and the public will enter through the main entrance (Nova, 31.08.2026). Nearby is the paid parking lot „Izgrev bl. 7“ on Akve Kalide Street, about half a kilometer from the hall; according to myburgas.com, the fee is 0.50 € per starting hour or 5 € for 24 hours.
By taxi
Taxis are convenient for a company that splits the bill. Private companies publish fixed prices for the Sozopol – Burgas route, which are around 25 €. The arena is further away from the city center, so ask for a price to the exact address.
After a big event, many people leave at the same time and it’s difficult to get a taxi to the venue. Arrange the return in advance: time, place of pickup and price.
By bus
- Sozopol – Burgas. The buses of „Burgasbus“ and „Sozopolbus“ arrive at the South Bus Station in Burgas (sector 5).
- South Bus Station – Arena. Urban line 15 starts from the „Autogara South“ stop and runs along „Stefan Stambolov“ Blvd., passing by the hall. The routes that depart from the bus station between 17:00 and 19:00 are numbered 15A and run along the same boulevard. The ticket in the bus is 0.80 €.
- The opposite. The last bus from Burgas to Sozopol by „Burgasbus“ leaves at 20:00. At „Sozopolbus“, the last route is at 19:30 on weekdays and at 18:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. There are only 20:30 and 21:30 routes during the summer season.
It is easy to get to the venue by bus for a daytime event. For an evening show, the return journey must be by car or by arranged taxi.
On Stefan Stambolov Blvd., lines 3, 15, 15A and B12 pass by the hall. The closest stops are „Trakia“ and „Izgrev, bl. 3“ (according to myburgas.com).
Eurovision 2027: what is known about transportation
- The organizers are preparing a special transport plan: a coordination center of the Burgas Municipality, 24/7, and a mobile app with routes and shuttles. Details are forthcoming (eurovision2027.bg).
- Urban transport in Burgas will be doubled and there will be shuttle buses to the hall (Novas, 13.08.2026).
- Courses are being discussed in Sozopol even after midnight, including around 00:30 (Flaggman, 28.08.2026). There is no official timetable yet.
